Uxbridge is officially recognized as the Trail Capital of Canada, and includes sections of the Trans Canada Trail. Hiking, cycling, and horseback riding are all popular ways to explore the landscape at your own pace.

 

Towns and local charm

Both Uxbridge and Port Perry offer walkable main streets with excellent restaurants, cozy coffee shops, bakeries, and ice cream spots. Uxbridge is also home to the charming old style Roxy Theatre, a local favourite for a relaxed night out.

In Port Perry, the Port Perry Marina provides access to the lake, with boat rentals available for those who want time on the water. It is an easy way to spend an afternoon cruising, swimming, or simply enjoying the view from the dock.

The Blue Heron Casino offers gaming, live entertainment, and dining, making it a popular evening option for guests who want something a little livelier without going far.
